      I remember the day I met Rick. I was literally his biggest Fan with a 3’ photo of his car he needed up signing. I traveled with him when he drove the #9 carmate trailers car in the MAC series . Every race I made it to he made sure I was in the pits to help and always made feel like I was part of the team. later on I would stay with him and his amazing wife Mary and son Jesse and travel with him. I know as a kid I couldn’t have picked a better race car driver to be my favorite driver. Gone but never forgotten…. J9
